Polish military stands down air operations

Military aviation operations ‌in Poland's airspace related to Russia's strikes ​on Ukraine have ​ended, the Polish army ⁠said.

"We would like ​to inform you ​that no violations of Polish airspace were recorded," ​it said on ​X.

Earlier in the night, the Polish ‌Armed ⁠Forces said that Poland, a NATO and European Union ​member, ​scrambled ⁠fighter jets on Thursday as ​a preventive ​measure ⁠following Russia's attack on Ukraine.
