Walala A. Rathnayake Central College secured victory in the under 20 Girls' 4x800 Relay at the ongoing Hiru Relay Championship 2026 at the Mahinda Rajapaksa Stadium in Diyagama.
This championship is conducted under the full sponsorship and guidance of the Hiru Media Network.
Organised for the fourth time by the Sri Lanka Schools Athletics Association with the consent from the Ministry of Education, the event involves over 4,500 students from schools across the island and covers all age categories.
