Thai Sumeda Enterprises (Pvt) Ltd, one of Sri Lanka’s leading manufacturers and exporters of incense sticks and fragrance-related products, has been honoured with the “Business of the Year 2026” Award in the Large Category for Manufacturing Excellence.
The award was presented at the Business World International Awards Ceremony 2026 held recently at Mount Lavinia Hotel, recognising the company’s outstanding contribution to Sri Lanka’s manufacturing sector and its growing international presence.
Founded in 1989 under the leadership of Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Sumeda Elpitiya, Thai Sumeda Enterprises has evolved from a small entrepreneurial venture into one of Sri Lanka’s most recognised incense manufacturing brands.
