CIC Holdings posts Rs. 70.28 bn revenue, 8.7% growth for nine months

CIC Holdings PLC posted Rs. 70.28 billion consolidated revenue for the nine months ended 31 December 2025, reflecting an 8.69% YoY increase.


The Group’s gross profit rose 10.11% to Rs. 18.42 billion, with the gross margin improving to 26%, supported by disciplined pricing and product mix optimisation.


Profit after tax (PAT) increased to Rs. 5.97 billion from Rs. 5.70 billion in the same period last year, despite the impact of Cyclone Ditwah.


Operating profit (EBIT) closed at Rs. 9.67 billion, compared to Rs. 8.62 billion previously, reflecting the strength of the Group’s diversified portfolio and cost management.


CIC Holdings Group CEO Aroshan Seresinhe and S.H.Amarasekara, CIC Holdings Chairman said, “Despite Cyclone Ditwah disrupting agriculture, strong performances in pharmaceuticals, livestock, and healthcare sustained our momentum. Our diversified portfolio and disciplined execution strengthen our ability to manage volatility while advancing food security, healthcare access, and long-term value for stakeholders.”


The Crop Solutions sector remained the largest contributor, accounting for 44.7% of revenue, followed by Livestock Solutions at 21% and Health & Personal Care at 20.18%. Industrial Solutions and Agri Produce contributed 8.6% and 6.4% respectively.


Health & Personal Care, particularly export-driven product lines, recorded improved performance, alongside growth in feeds, poultry, and veterinary care solutions supporting overall results.


Despite cyclone-related disruption to cultivation cycles, EBITDA and operating profit both recorded YoY growth. Crop Solutions revenue rose from Rs. 28.06 billion to Rs. 32.32 billion, Livestock Solutions from Rs. 13.35 billion to Rs. 14.60 billion, and Health & Personal Care from Rs. 14.29 billion to Rs. 14.46 billion.


Agri Produce and Industrial Solutions revenue increased to Rs. 4.64 billion and Rs. 6.28 billion respectively.
