Walala A. Rathnayake Central College secured victory in the Under-18 Girls’ 800x4 Relay at the ongoing Hiru Relay Championship 2026 held at the Diyagama Mahinda Rajapaksa Stadium.
The championship is being conducted under the full sponsorship of the Hiru Media Network, guided by its Chairman Rayynor Silva.
Organised for the fourth time by the Sri Lanka Schools Athletics Association with the consent of the Ministry of Education, the Relay Championship features participation from over 4,500 school athletes across all age categories.
