Three construction workers have tragically lost their lives following an embankment collapse in the Pelessa area of Ahangama today (22).
The incident occurred while the victims were engaged in construction work at a private site.
The embankment suddenly gave way, burying the three workers who were in the immediate vicinity.
Although emergency rescue operations were launched immediately by local residents and police officers to recover the trapped individuals, all three were pronounced dead upon being reached.
